As in-house senior designer at Starbucks headquarters, I developed retail brand strategies and then distilled those concepts into resonating details that customers could see, touch and feel. By observing fashion, cultural and economic trends, I drew unexpected connections that cultivated my creativity and ultimately shaped and enhanced consumers’ personal retail experiences. I strived for inspirational excellence, combining the priorities of commercial settings and client business needs with strong, authentic, emotional branding, while owning extensive responsibilities for all Starbucks’ joint ventures. I managed other designers and pre-press teams assigned to each project to ensure compliance with budgets and schedules, and acted as a leader and mentor within the team.
